Cola Youth

Worship + Community + Mission

Columbia Presbyterian Church exists to make disciples and multiply churches by equipping our body to grow up in God into lives of worship, community, and mission. As a ministry of Cola Pres, Cola Youth seeks to fulfill this vision by partnering with families to foster a student’s life in God through worship, in community with other believers, and equipping them to live on mission.

Through Worship… Worship shapes student’s lives and loves by allowing them to see the family of God gather, sing and celebrate together, and hear the gospel proclaimed. James KA Smith writes,  “Worship is the arena in which God recalibrates our hearts, reforms our desires, and rehabituates our loves. Worship isn’t just something we do; it is where God does something to us.”

In Community… Through Sunday morning fellowship, Sunday night gatherings, bible studies, meals together, hikes, and continual conversations, we want to curate an environment where students can connect with one another and Jesus loving adults to mature in their faith.

On Mission… As students learn to worship and their community deepens, we equip them to live on mission. Through consistent shepherding, teaching, and training we want to provide practical and organic ways for a student to share their faith at school, at home, at work, and anywhere else in the lives God is calling them to live.
