Every member is finding his or her role in evangelism.  That’s intimidating for most of us.  But it is the call of every believer.

Some of our members are already active witnesses in the spheres where they live, work, and play.  Praise God.  We hope to encourage them in that.

Other members need help rubbing shoulders with unbelievers.  Our deacons are helping plug those folks into the disciple making mercy ministries we serve.  Some of our outreach includes mentoring urban at risk youth, sharing Christ’s love with women in the city’s sex industry, supporting teen moms, and friendship with men in transition.

Please contact Mike Ruiz for more information on how to get involved.

Local Mission

Ezekiel Ministries partners with local churches to recruit loving adult mentors who will make a long-term investment in children’s lives. As a result, children make better decisions, families grow stronger, and communities are forever changed. Ezekiel Ministries would love your help, and the specific gifts that you have. From serving at EZE Afterschool, mentoring with EZE Mentoring, praying as a Prayer Warrior...we need what you bring! Get involved here.

YoungLives has a vision to reach teen moms by entering their world, modeling the unconditional love of Christ, and encouraging them to become the women and mothers God created them to be. Through Young Life’s time-tested methods and life-on-life mentoring, teen moms are empowered to make positive choices, set and achieve goals, and live a future rooted in Christ. Get involved here.

Providence Home is a place of hope and healing, offering a temporary home for men in life transition or recovery. Our holistic approach, rooted deeply in the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ for radical life change, helps men renew their mind, body, and spirit, seek reconciliation with family, friends, and neighbors, and reintegrate fully into society. Get involved here.

Young Life One, the newest branch of ministry within Young Life, aims to meet kids on the margins with the hope of Jesus Christ. Here in Columbia, they are pioneering this ministry out of the Broad River Road complex. This long term facility run by the Department of Juvenile Justice currently houses 46 adolescents throughout the state ages 12-19.

Pearls is a ministry that offers support, hope, and restoration to women working in Columbia's adult entertainment industry. Through monthly outreaches to Columbia's largest strip club, Pearls has the opportunity to build relationships with women working in the industry by serving a meal and getting to know them where they are, while pointing them to the hope that is only found in the Gospel. Pearls desires to see the women it serves find new life and hope in Jesus.

Global Mission

As a church, we exist to make disciples and multiply churches.  This call is for our city, country, and the world. Some of our members will be called to serve overseas as an extension of our body in Columbia to the world.  Below are some of our members who serve overseas, as well as some of our partners who work with us to ensure that in Christ, we are making disciples and multiplying churches here and outside the USA:

Missionaries in Closed Countries

We have the privilege to partner with members of our church that are serving

in parts of the world that are closed to the gospel. If you want to know more about those

ministries and/or our members, please email Mike Ruiz.
