Church Planting
If we are disciples who make disciples, Lord willing, our church will join hands with others to plant churches here in the Midlands and to the ends of the earth. We've seen God do this, both in the local churches listed below and outward to security-sensitive fields overseas. We pray for more workers for the harvest.
In 2020, we got behind Riverside Community Church to partner with Jaywill and Krystal Wilson and their church plant City of Refuge here in Columbia, desiring to be a true place of physical and spiritual refuge for our city.
In 2018, our church launched Adam and Lauri Williams to plant Rivercrest Presbyterian Church in nearby Lexington, SC. The Lord is using this church body to reach Lexington county by making gospel-centered disciples committed to worship, community, and mission.
In 2014, our church prayerfully commissioned JP and Laurie Sibley to plant New City Fellowship in Orangeburg, SC, 45 minutes away. The Lord has grown a diverse, worshipful body striving to “Make disciples who do justice, love kindness, and walk humbly with God.”
