Who We Are
Welcome to Columbia Presbyterian Church!
We are a gospel-believing, Bible-teaching, diverse, missional family of believers part of the Presbyterian Church in America. We are glad you are here and hope to connect with you soon in person.
Cola Pres exists for God’s glory and his Great Commission. By his grace and power we strive to make disciples and multiply churches. As disciples, we grow up in God through lives of worship, in community, and on mission together.
You’ll see that heart behind everything we do, from gathering in corporate worship, to building friendships in community, to finding our spiritual gifts for God to use where he’s placed us. We are low on programs and high on relationships that encourage our faith. Our prayer for our church and the spheres of influence God has given us, is that “we may present everyone mature in Christ” (Colossians 1:28).
Worship
We live to worship. “I will praise the LORD all my life,” the psalmist says (Psalms 146:2). God is that glorious, his gospel is that good, and giving him praise is that sweet. As disciples, we are growing together in lives of personal, family, and corporate worship. That makes Sunday’s, the Lord’s Day, a big and beautiful deal for us. We gather weekly to sing, to celebrate, to rehearse the gospel, and to enjoy God’s sacraments of baptism and the Lord’s Supper.
Join us Sundays at 9am for our Sunday Study and 10:15am for corporate worship.
Community
Our church strives for Christian friendships that point each other to Jesus. A big way we do that is through our small group ministry, Growth Groups. Growth Groups meet during each semester at various times and places to learn God’s Word together. Another way we foster friendship is through our men’s and women’s ministries. We want every member to feel at home among family here and to be pushed in his or her walk with Christ.

Mission
Cola Pres is a Great Commission church, striving to “make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19-20). Every member has a part to play. If we already have a lot of relationships with non-Christians, wonderful. We want to train you to share your faith. If we don’t, or are looking for more, we have a number of places to plug each member into an outreach opportunity that suits their unique gifts.
